Favorite
Things...
Carolers
singing "O Come All Ye Faithful"... The little Lord Jesus
asleep on the hay... Bells on bob-tails ringing... Chestnuts
roasting... Home for the holidays... And our very favorite Christmas
albums. For me and millions of others around the world, it's these
favorite things that represent the most wonderful time of the year.
But missing from our fondest Christmas memories — until now — has
been a Christmas album by my favorite female vocalist, Ann-Margret.
This is Ann-Margret's very first Christmas album, a unique
musical achievement featuring classic Christmas songs and also The
Jordanaires on
backing vocals. Our favorite albums of Christmases past may still be
played over and over again, but now, we have one album to place in the
heavy rotation mode — an album for which we've all longed — Ann-Margret's
Christmas Carol Collection.
From this season forward, Christmas now also means evergreen holiday
music wrapped up in red curls, cashmere sweaters, green eyes and
purring, alternating sweet and fiery vocals. So, go tell it on the
mountain, dash through the snow, ring those bells, pour yourself some
creamy eggnog and get ready to savor this newest and freshest of
Christmas albums. Like everything Ann-Margret does, her Christmas
Carol Collection glows with taste and style — and to quote the
ultimate lady herself, "Merry
Christmas, Everybody, and God Bless." —Art
